Supervisor – Production & Maintenance

Key Responsibilities

• Machine Operations & Maintenance:

Ensure smooth functioning of all machinery, including shredders, hammer mills, pellet
machines, and coir processing equipment.
o Prevent machine breakdowns by performing routine checks and proactive
maintenance.
o Effectively handle and resolve machine malfunctions to minimize downtime.

Maintain regular follow-up with drivers and laborers to ensure timely
and efficient collection of garden waste. Visit collection points daily to verify waste collection and ensure no delay in the process.

• Labor Management:

Supervise and efficiently manage labour teams to meet production targets.
o Maintain accurate attendance records for all labour staff and report them regularly.
o Provide guidance to labourers on their tasks to ensure high productivity and
compliance with safety standards.

• Material Management:

Oversee the inward and outward movement of raw materials and finished goods.
o Maintain detailed records of inventory, including raw materials, semi-finished, and
finished products.
o Ensure proper documentation of material movement to and from the site.

• Reporting & Documentation:

Maintain accurate records of labour attendance, material movements, machine
maintenance schedules, and production outputs.
o Prepare and submit daily reports on production and maintenance activities to the
Production Manager.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Educational Qualification:
  o ITI in Welding or Electrical (mandatory).
• Experience:
  o Prior experience in machine operations, production supervision, or related fields is
  preferred.
• Technical Skills:
  o Sound knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and welding tasks.
  o Ability to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical issues in heavy-duty
  machinery.
• Soft Skills:
  o Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  o Good communication skills in Marathi and Hindi.
  o Detail-oriented with strong organizational and record-keeping skills
